Support Administrator
We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented Support Administrator to provide high-quality administrative and customer service support across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, self-motivated, and adaptable to varying work environments. Strong communication skills, critical thinking ability, and a high level of computer proficiency are essential. As a growing company with a long history of recognizing performance and contributions, we offer extensive training in all aspects of the role, including database maintenance, order processing, sales and operations support, and client interaction. Reliable transportation is required, as this role involves travel throughout the greater Indianapolis area.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle client inquiries efficiently, professionally, and with compassion—both in person and via phone.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across all administrative tasks.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and industry-specific software to manage data, orders, and documentation.
- Review, submit, and process orders promptly and accurately.
- Produce daily activity reports for each assigned location.
- Support accounts receivable functions, including communicating open balances to clients and sales staff.
- Assist with general office operations and tasks across multiple locations.
- Become proficient in industry-specific client and inventory databases.
- Provide consistent support to sales, operations, and internal teams as needed.
- Maintain reliable transportation for travel between locations.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of office administration experience preferred; other relevant experience and education will be considered.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and strong general computer aptitude.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Prior experience with contract management software is a plus.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Environment
- In-office administrative setting across multiple locations.
- Frequent computer work, data entry, and document processing.
- Regular communication with the general public, both in-person and over the phone.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute throughout the greater Indianapolis area.
- Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
- Tues–Fri: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
